Eco-Earth: Operation CleanUp is due to go live on May 9th 2019! Our goal is to raise £700,000 to allow us to buy a warehouse and basic equipment to get our idea off the ground.
For those who don’t know — Eco-Earth: Operation CleanUp is a huge project aimed at not only reducing our global waste but also recycling everything. Anything that can’t be recycled will be taken to our craft center and turned into other useful items.
The waste we can process and recycle: i.e. metals, wood, food waste, glass etc… etc… will be sold on and processed into new materials. The funds we collect from said materials will cover a lot of our overheads.
So why do we need £700,000? – To get ‘settled in’ we intend to start off only processing rubbish from our local town as a trial, we then intend to branch out slowly across the west midlands, then across the UK. In order to do this we require a storage unit that is capable of processing and storing roughly 31 million tonnes of rubbish per year. The bulk of the funds will go into buying the storage required to do just that.
We intend to grow slowly over the next few years so we can adapt and change as needed. Have any questions? I have attempted to answer all the common questions in our F.A.Q page. If you still can’t find the answer you are looking for you can contact me directly.
